Gabriela DeLeon isn't a world-class elite runner, but simply loves to run. The senior communication specialist for a bank in Euless trains for races five or six times a week in the mornings, before she starts working from home and caring for her 11-month-old daughter, Gala. DeLeon's training program is nothing special. She just tries to get in her morning miles and then some speed work before big events. 'I don't take training so serious; I put family and work first,' said DeLeon, who won the Statesman Capitol 10,000 women's race Sunday.
