Two Tarrant County restaurants were closed due to refrigeration issues and four mobile food units failed Aug. 20-Sept. 2 inspections, according to county data compiled by the Star-Telegram. Mai Thai Restaurant at 201 Highway 156 N in Haslet, scored 30 on Aug. 24. Restaurants that receive more than 29 demerits require a follow-up inspection. The inspector found several flies in the kitchen and food debris on knives in the knife holder. Three refrigerators weren't cooling properly, and the owners voluntarily closed the restaurant until the refrigerators could be repaired.
